In the last three years, ITE has made extraordinary achievements including:
1. 1997 – ITE
has successfully developed with Hitachi word’s
first intelligent peripheral controller (IPC) which is fully
integrated by HP and received honors for integration
in its Handheld PCs.
2. 1997 Jul. – ITE became the official Microsoft
authorized system
integrator for
engaged in the S/W design and development of
Windows® CE operating system.
3. 1998 Aug.–ITE officially integrated the work
of chips and system
designs specially tailored for Microsoft’s Venus project
in Mainland China.
4. 1999 Oct.–ITE
again partnered with Microsoft to officially present
the system platform designed for the Venus TV
computer. The record-making system platform is
applied to world’s first TV computer running on
RISC CPU.

1999 – ITE shipped over 30
million sets of Super I/O (Input/
Output) controllers around the world, constituting 35%
of the world Super I/O market share, and the delivery
continues to grow into the year of 2000.
