& CEO
Daniel Chen has over 20 years of experience in the
communications and computer integrated circuit (IC) industry, including various positions
in product marketing, strategic planning, business development, and corporate management.
Prior to founding ITE, Mr. Chen worked for the Second Business Group of United
Microelectronics Corporation (UMC), one of the world's leading IC manufacturers. UMC's
Second Business Group includes three divisions: Computer Product Division, Communication
Production, and FAB 1. The positions Mr. Chen held at UMC included Sales Manager,
Marketing Director, Director of Product Division, and Vice President. Under Mr. Chen's
leadership, UMC's Computer Production became one of the world's leading suppliers of x86
chipset and Super I/O, representing 28% and 30% respectively, of the world's market share.
Prior to UMC, Mr. Chen was the Sales Manager of Hitachi, Taiwan. Mr. Chen received a
bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Tam Kiang University, Taiwan. He also
holds 1 US patent and 3 Taiwan patents on electronics related designs. |

Steven Huang

Vice President, Marketing & System Integrator Operation
Steven Huang, born in 1955, is Senior Vice President of MSI Operation of ITE, and Executive Consultant for ITeX. Mr. Huang has over 18 years of experience in the computer
and communications integrated circuit (IC) industry, including various
positions in business development and corporate management. Prior to joining executive
team of ITE, Mr. Huang worked as General Manager of UMC's European Branch Office in
Amsterdam and senior sales manager of UMC Sales Division. Under Mr. Huangs
leadership, ITE becomes one of the worlds leading suppliers of Super I/O
controllers, representing 25%, respectively, of worldwide market share, and gets into the
new market in Windows CE with excellent marketing & system integration
capability. ITE shares 30% of the world wide mobile Windows CE chipset market and
the No 1 system integrator of Windows CE in Asia Pacific region. |

Vincent Hu

Senior
Vice President, Research & Development Operation
Vincent Hu, the Senior Vice President of R&D operation of ITE, is
in charge of products development and new technology researching. Vincent has over
15 years experience in R/D field. Despite the first three years as an engineer, he
also has accumulated over 12 years experience in R/D management. The history of PC
is also the history of Vincents career. From 8288/8237/8259 to 586 chip set,
486 CPU, he had managed the R/D team of Computer Products Division and CPU Products
Division of UMC to implement the products and accumulate the PC relative technology from
1984 to 1996. Joined ITE in 1996, he started to direct the technology field from PC
relative to Embedded solution for Windows CE. In the passed three years, ITE has
already built up some good technology and products to this new and challenging field. |

Lin

Vice
President, Operation Support
H.Y.Lin, is a Vice President of Operation Support of ITE, Mr. Lin has over 15 years of
experience in semiconductor manufacture and engineering field, including Fab, Assembly,
and Testing. Prior to joining executive team of ITE, Mr. Lin worked as a manager of CPU
and Computer product Division of UMC, and in charge of all the manufacture related
back-end process. |

Chyou-Hsiung Hwang

Director, Strategic Alliance
C.H Hwang(1955), is the senior director of strategy development. Mr. Hwang has 20
years experience in the design and management of HW/SW systems of computer,
data-communication and telecommunication. He assists in uniting the corporate resources of
ITE and makes best utilization or alliance. Before joining ITE, C.H. worked in UMC,
Diamond Flower Inc.(DFI) and Telecommunication Laboratories(TL,ROC). At TL, he
participated in ISDN research and lead a project of DSU development. At UMC and DFI,
he worked majority in the engineering management of design and application of PC related
peripheral and core logic ICs. He was also a director in the long-term technology
committee of UMC. C.H. received the BS degree in nuclear engineering from Tsing-Hua
university and the MSEE degree from Taiwan University. |
